Kayaking
The entire area of Drummond Island is a kayaker's paradise. With all the shoreline of Drummond itself, and all the outlying islands, you could spend an entire summer exploring. There are protected areas around the many small islands, as well as large expanses of open water for the more advanced paddlers. Many of the smaller islands are in Pottagannissing Bay, northwest of the main island. It's possible to paddle extensively among the islands without being more than about half a mile from shore. There are many privately owned islands, but several are public lands. The largest of these islands, Harbor Island, is horseshoe shaped with a protected bay in the middle. The south shore of the island also provides a convoluted coastline with paddling potential. The primitive east side of the island is one area that advanced paddlers should not miss. Kayak rentals are available on the island.
