Fishing
|
The waters off Drummond Island are famous for
great
fishing in any season
- Spring - Perch and Smelt runs in April. May opens with
Northern Pike, Walleye, and Bass seasons.
- Summer - Fishing is good throughout the summer for Northern
Pike, Walleye,
Smallmouth Bass, Cisco, and Salmon. Trolling the DeTour lighthouse has
been very productive for Salmon.
- Fall - Perch run again in the fall. Salmon fishing can get fast
and furious.
- Winter - Ice-fishing is good for Perch and
Northern Pike.
