Biking

The island has many biking opportunities that range from quiet, paved roads to rugged trails on the islands north and east shores.

The trails in the northern region of Drummond are perfect for mountain bikers. Dirt roads lead to natural flat rock plains which branch off into paths of various conditions. All this is surrounded by beautiful Lake Huron.

There are many logging roads and ATV trails available on the eastern side of the island.  The northern and eastern half of this large island is almost all owned by the State of Michigan.  Many, many square miles of untouched land for your use.

 Exploring is the name of the game here since so many hidden trails exist.
